Northwest Hills is one of Austin's most beautiful areas. In this neighborhood, you will find a stunning array of charming homes sitting atop mountainsides, offering amazing views, iconic architecture on established land with majestic trees and an impressive amount of green space.  

Homes in this area are largely custom built, primarily ranch-style homes with established oaks and gorgeous landscaping. Development in this neighborhood began in the 1960s, and many of the homes reflect this in the architecture. Values have increased over time in Northwest Hills as it is easily one of Austin's most desirable neighborhoods.  

Northwest Hills is located just seven miles from Austin’s downtown entertainment district, five miles from high-end retails shops at the Domain and less than five miles from the Arboretum. In addition, convenient access to highways such as MoPac and Loop 360/Capital of Texas Highway make it easy to commute to other areas of Austin and the surrounding areas. 

This neighborhood is family-friendly and features small strip malls, churches and restaurants. Businesses are locally-owned and there's a strong sense of community and support. 

For kids and young students, the schools are stellar and highly desirable, with students feeding into Anderson High School, Murchison Middle School and Doss Elementary School.
